Looking for highest THC level for auto flower plants available. Decent bud yield would be nice as w

No one has had the thought to until just now. There's a guy in the middle of flowering a fem'd MOB. Should be similar to the clone I would think.

nelson, you mean selfing it to a clone of itself? this usually causes unstable genetics (mostly hermies i understand) from what i understand... selfing to ANOTHER mother is ok... or clone of another mother.

Strange question - 'what is highest THC level in plant'

Science is a theory of a descriptions to categories the world around us. Once it became clear that in fact THC numbers did not reflect the experience of the high then science had to look elsewhere for explanations. The terpenes and other micro chemicals are now considered to have a major effect on the high as will CBD levels(not CBN! very different cowfish altogether).

Once these are understood it will be clear that there is more to the high than this and the scientists will look closer and there will be another level of theory and explanation as to the micro micro components of our smokes.

At a recent music session with friends I laid out a selection of sativas to be enjoyed. All very strong. At the end of the night everyone had a favorite, all different and the views changed quite dramatically as to the strengths and effects of the different strains. To have correct interpretation of high then the body chemistry of the toker would also have to be scientifically mapped in.

The reason we have such strong smokes today is the boys in the fields for the last few thousand years in Thailand, Nepal ,etc all tried a few smokes after harvest and found the ones that turned them on and grew those seeds next year.

Smoke and enjoy, leave the figures to government statisticians!

You may well be right. I did it once and had no problem with the offspring seeds. they were all fems almost exadtly like the mother plant and no hermies. Once is of course no real test. I still make seeds from the offspring. I would like to try it again and was thinking the Maine MOB might be a good candidate.

I agree with most of this for sure. That is why I value real peoples smoking tests to numbers. That is also why our local Breeding Club in our Fall smoke off sends everyone home with a bunch of joints and asks that we only smike one a day to score the results. These are usually wicked strong pots. Of course there is never a clear winner cause we all like different thngs in out stone. Some of us like to daydream with colours and intricate patterns and philosophies of Utopia. Others like to get shit faced sit on the couch and listen to old Metallica albums. The numbers don't reflect the enjoyment of the smoke always.

I would like to see the methodology and test equipment the tests were done on. Is it the stupid compare colours on the blue chemical test or is it on a gas spectrum analiser that costs a couple hundred thousand dollars and the calibration procedure used to set it up. The numbers would mean more to me but I would still be counting on twenty people doing the skoke test. Maybe 100 people doing the smoke test. Our local club is now up to 22 and I think their smoke off results are still the best test that I have seen to date.

Hey Jm;
If you were to C.S a plant then use the pollen to pollinate the same plant that you C.S'd that would cause hermies correct?
But if you were to clone a plant and C.S the plant that you cloned and pollinate the clone that wouldn't cause hermies would it?

You could be right. I think different people get off differently as well. I also think that when you smoke the same type over and over you build up an immunity to the mix so when you smoke something new it really has an effect on you.

If I go a month without smoking trainwreck and then smoke it again it is such a whack in the head.

The strain list I post earlier were performed here in Denver by a medical cannabis testing facility.

I agree numbers don't really mean shit. High THC doesn't mean it's good or better.
More & more I'm starting to think it's more the ratios between the different cannabinoids that matters more.

if i recall correctly Easy Ryder claims 19%, but again like many have mentioned its not about the numbers different labs will give different results and different parts of the plant will test differently. i don't really trust any of the numbers out there but its a general guide High times said only 35 or so of all its entries into the cannabis cup tested over 20% and that is photo plants from some of the best growers on the planet! so most numbers are over inflated to be sure...
