Live Stoner Chat Longtime no grow

Looks nice! I'm waiting on my Northern lights to finish up. They're at day 91 from the time I put them in water. 88 days from sprout. What do you think? Almost ready, not seeing much amber trichomes.

Looks good, your leaves are yellowing off so it looks as if its almost done. My leaves still very green, getting frosty now.... but worried about humidity as it is high atm. Have just bought a dehumidifier so hope they be ok. I am at day 85ish.... was meant to be 65 days but they got so stunted with so many mistakes I made at the beginning....suprised they survived at all.

I have 2 other girls now day 40 and they are huge.... taking up most of the light so I am hoping these two will finish very soon as the others need the space :) Be good to hear how you finish :)

Fast to vast stunted ladies..... almost ready to chop
hi everyone.... so leaves haven't gone yellow but I'm sure I will need to chop the girls soon... struggling with space.

I've ordered a jewellers loupe so hopefully that will arrive soon so I can at least get a view of their tryches pre chop.

I've bought a weed dryer and storage jars this week.... so I'm ready to harvest.

Pictures- various colas from both girls.20200726_133321.jpg20200726_133542.jpg20200726_133504.jpg20200726_133618.jpg20200726_133523.jpg20200726_133631.jpg20200726_133817.jpg20200726_133943.jpg

Trichome update :)
So after find a tiny bit of mildew forming a few leaves....I decided to give the girls a major haircut. The trichomes are just turning milky now ... all buds are looking ok...no signs of bud rot. I'm very close now to harvesting so wont be feeding nutes again. Yesterday they had their last feed which included a dose of AN Over-Drive which I'm hoping will give them a final push, increase density etc.

I've also bent the higher colas down ... so this last two weeks these girls should be ready to chop.

I chopped all popcorn and stragglers and completely defoliated because humidity has been higher due to wet weather and I don't want to risk rot during last 2 weeks. I'm still waiting for dehumidifier to arrive... All the popcorny stuff is in the WeDryer.... couldn't throw it, the trichomes are turning milky and the pistils were amber so they may give me at least a taste of whats to come. :)

So huge learning curve on these first 2 girls .... all things considered I'll be happy with whatever I yield.

I am loving my girls right now :)
Excitable..... update. One of the girls had a semi chop this eve, I am gonna harvest in stages as 1/3 of one of the girls buds were so ripe I felt they must be picked ...... 80 to 90% of the pistils were orangey brown, all curling into the buds and they are full of resin. All tryches on these were milky. I will do a final dry yield after I have cured them. The lower branches should start to fatten up and ripen over the next week, maybe 2. It will be good to stage the harvest, will let some really ripen off for a more couch lock effect. They smell just gorgeous, really lemony and a bit cinnamon... just lovely.

The good bit!!! so I decided to smoke the scissor hash ... Only a tiny amount, less than the size of a lentil, I am baked. Happy days. The buds may not be huge but they are going to be mint me thinks  :weed:

First grow results
The Fast to Vast girls weighed in at 95g cured weight. Not too bad considering at one point I was gonna give up on them.

I'm using a vape which is OK. I gave up smoking tobacco a year ago ....its not the same as enjoying a joint with the vape... but will persevere.

The high is nice... tastes ok considering I didnt flush .... I have 1 more F2V bean to germ....so better luck with this strain next grow :)

Happy growing everyone. :)
