Such wasn't the case when I was a young boy! Dad bought 2 baby bottle calfs to fatten up, so my mom being so soft hearted quickly gives them both names. Following my dad's lead, we just called one Dinner and the other Supper! :rofl:

I guess I should add they were around for a couple years coming and going as they pleased, (at least over 100 acres of pasture), and they were most certainly treated much better than those animals crammed into those mass produced corporate feed lots that the companies so much like to call "factory farms!"
