Exactly...there were only three channels. So nothing much on, so we kids all WENT OUT AND PLAYED (in those days). *insert my old man speech here*

I see how easily and quickly my nephew and kids his age get bored and just remember when I was a kid. Middle of the day during the summer there was nothing on TV and playing video games required quarters and a ride to the mall. So we went out and ran around with all the other kids in the neighborhood(s). As a result, I swear you could have taken a small group of us and locked us in a room with nothing but a small pile of sticks for a few hours and within a few minutes we would have invented a game to play with the sticks to keep ourselves amused. Granted, though, it would probably have been something like trying to throw, hit, or other wise smack each other with the sticks. We were creative, but did have our violent streaks. :smoking:

Exactly! I am so glad I grew up when I did. No puters or even video games. During the summer I would be outside at sunrise and wouldn't come in until after the sun went down! I loved it! Now, my daughter had a tv, computer, game systems...everything and she'd always complain that she was bored. Lol

I do remember a 13"( awesome for the time) b&w on top of the console 8track stereo ,for me would been the early 70's ,color sets were there but that's what we had,dad had 4 remotes !! ....

I remember the skins you used to get to put over the telly screen to make black & white TV look coloured...Seriously..
they had a blue band at the top..orange in the middle and green at the bottom.....people Bought them..

@Mossy I am skeptical in going cause it isn't cheap to go and get in the gate.. And then I am sure they will charge high prices for everything. Would be worth it if they gave out a lot of samples but with the price the Vendors pay to be there I doubt they are handing out free samples everywhere.

Anyone else ever done the nirvana autos? What was your dried and cured smell like? The taste is fine but it just doesn't have that smell that the Mephisto has.. Anyone ever notice that?
