The wind is an awesome force, sometimes whiteouts are so intense visibility is literally 0. Can't see can barely breathe, gusts knock you down. If you are on the trail, instant lost, nothing to do but hunker down wait it out. Really tests your cool, how comfortable are you in your skin?
