And then you had this powerhouse of a band - fast cars and freedom chart busters!

@hairyman

Love this song, this is my life and my bride of 47 years ..... Country Songs are about life and this fits my life perfect .... Love ya sweetheart!

Roy was amazing, RIP Roy - Seems only the good die young!

And then you had this group from the sixtes .... Possibly one of the best female voices ever, Mama Cass .....

Another powerhouse group from the sixties ....

From 1982 - Interest Rates for 30 year fixed at 12% ..... Inflation running wild but then came Reaganomics .....

And then one my favorites .... Dealing Colombian Red Bud by the pound I was in love with song .... For sure I identified with

At the time I had a job selling Electrolux Vacuums and I would load up ten elbows into a vac box ..... Dress up in sport coat and tie and off I would go to deliver carry my demo vac and box of elbows into the house ..... Never collected money when I dropped off, that came later - dressed different and different car and usually a daytime visit ..... then came the kids and dealing days done forever ....

Don’t fear the Reaper .... Another classic rock song ...... Stoned out of our heads and playing in the radio it didn’t get any better ...

And my final song this am ..... possibly one of the best .... check out the arrangement, unreal ....

Pease alway,
MOB

I made some brownies, first time with cooking,, was fcked last night,,,,

First time I made cookies..I Though I Killed hubby... :crying: ..I'd never seen anyone have a whitey before.....

Daughter in law gave me instruction/doseage.....I Thought it seemed a bit Much for a cookie....so I shared it between two cookies....hubby ate both...one after another..and it turned out it was supposed to be the amount for 12 cookies.....
:crying::crying::crying: I nearly called an ambulance....

How's the clean up going,,,,,, any surprise survivors in the garden,,,

We started The Burning today.....we got a hell of a lot of burning to do...:pass:..most of the plants drowned..and anything lower than 18 inches in the cabin is knackered.
We filled two large skips with settees..beds..chip board cupboards/bookcase..washing machine..new printer etc..etc..

Main worry now is the cabin floor...it has stayed like a camels back...so now we have to see If it is possible to replace..and how much it would cost if we could.

The horse radish has risen from the dead......:headbang:

About half the trees look okay..but is is hard to tell as they are naturally dying back this time of year.

I can see a couple of aloe vera that Might not die off....and I had a pot of lemongrass on the patio which survived..while the big clumps in the garden got killed off...so I have split them...hope they increase come spring...

Got some cuttings off this one..one of me favourites.....it looks as if it is dying from the bottom up..but still trying to flower....so I grabbed some of the still living shoots and stuck them in with the lemongrass...Fingers Crossed huh...?
