Mornin' y'all!

It was absolutely perfect out yesterday. High 60's almost 70F and felt hot in the sun if you were outside. However, frost on everything this morning. At least it feels like spring is close. Can't wait to get some plants in the outdoor gardens going. We are up to 11 hours and 49 minutes of daylight and we hit 12 hours on March 15th. Our longest day is 14 hours 52 minutes not counting the sunrise/sunset hours.

We have one large planter box for tomatoes, which they tend to reseed themselves every year. Going to try broccoli along with the usual peppers, cucumbers, corn, and carrots. Pretty basic but it's what we actually eat & with the prices in stores even one fruit per plant makes it worth it. I grew eggplants very successfully one year which was great except, I don't like eggplant.

And I've ruined my morning, I shouldn't have looked. With the stock market being down my dreams of early retirement are going down as well....... My "best" is down $40-ish/share. That's $272,000 gone. In the last week. And that's just one company.

Back to work i guess.
