@SOOTDAWG what's going on with the Autoflower Cup? I heard it's being moved back an entire month?

Their marketing is fucking TERRIBLE holy shit balls. And are you sure Fast Buds isn't running the cup? I saw Plagron was a sponsor of it, and that's a pretty hardcore European company to be sponsoring something American-based.
Is there an "official" autoflower cup and not just a "cup" sponsored by some company with all their own entries? I feel like I see a lot of pro grower competitions but they are just made up to put medals on the packaging and website.

Not trying to be cynical, actually curious which ones are considered legit.

I have honestly yet to see a legit cup. Cups are notoriously bought out by the sponsors unfortunately.

The Camp Ruderalis thing was a joke; this douchey kid from Facebook put it on, spent the entire time wasted for the event, prizes never got handed out, money went missing, and they ran off and didn't pay the campground for hosting the event (all real, verifiable things!) Then the amount of hard drugs and weapons that somehow showed up at the event (this was a 1st hand story recount from a member from the forum telling me about it.)

Fast Buds has historically won several cups that they themselves sponsored, in obscure countries where you have to scratch your head if anyone is even growing weed.

This is the 2nd Autoflower Cup that this group of people have put on (the most recent one,) and it's been poorly promoted both years now and it has a weird "this was produced in Mexico on a budget of $100" vibe to the artwork, vibe, etc. Nothing about it feels "good." Their presence on Facebook is fucking laughable, like they post content and get literally 1 or 2 likes on it, it's crazy for something they have gathered so much support for.

When Nancy hosted the farm fest with Castio Farms in Oklahoma a few years back, they rented out the golf course in Ponca City and it was SUPER CHEAP, like less than $1500 to rent out this massive greened area, with camping spots, little cabins, a large mess hall with a kitchen, etc. I thought about looking into something like that, something centralized with lodging, but I'm not sure where the nearest air port would be (so figuring out buses, transportation, shuttles, etc) would be a thing.

I would LOVE to do an AFN sponsored cup sometime though!

Picked up some felt to try to line the boxes with. Picked up a clear top coat for the boxes once they are inked too.
