The best place to find deer early in the morning and especially when it snows!
I had a cat lady neighbor who kept dragging abandoned animals home to nurse them. She rang my bell at 7 AM more than once, bawling her eyes out, with a dying cat in a box, looking for a ride to the SPCA. She eventually got evicted because her lease said "no pets." She was way too cute at 23, and was trying to start a stripper career. I installed a stripper pole in her apartment to train on. That career didn't work out because she had such severe emotional issues she would cuss the guys out before she could sell a lap dance, and because the raunchy clubs she was working required her to get guys to buy her at least 5 drinks, and she would drink Hennessey's and be a mess instead of having the barkeep substitute iced tea. I met her when she moved onto the block because I had a truck and she asked me to move her stuff. I gave her a cheap price, but the day before moving day she called to tell me she didn't actually have the money, but really needed to move before they set her stuff out on the curb. She said instead of paying me she would make any fantasy come true for me. I said something like "Oh my god!" Before I could say anything else, she said, "I'll take that for a yes," and hung up. I didn't get much sleep that night. I did move her stuff the next day. Afterwards she hopped in my truck and asked what fantasy I wanted. For once, I had enough sense to tell her "Let's just be friends." She was kinda shocked, but said OK. After that she always let me know what was going down on our block. I moved her 7 more times and she payed cash. Now, 25 years later, she's a school bus aide, still cute, in her 40's with 2 kids, in an apartment that allows pets. She still checks on me from time to time.
Well, I had a very productive, but long day yesterday.
The main reason for the trip was to get a CAT scan at the VA hospital. That was absolutely the fastest appointment I had ever had. I wasn't in the waiting room for the CAT scan more than 3 minutes and the guy came out and called my name........Much to the chagrin of the three other people in the waiting room!
So after a little over 100 mile drive and the very brisk walk back to the parking building with the blowing cold wind, I was ready for some pain relief!
That relief was 20 minutes away with my next stop at my veteran buddy's house to deliver him some meds.so we got very chilled with some of the Rucu Cucu I had with me. Definitely gonna make seeds of her! We had a nice little visit and got to see the new remodeling.
The next stop was on the way home. It definitely wasn't as long as I wanted, but given the conditions, it was satisfactory.
My boy was in the Metro Mess for the funeral of his maternal grandmother. Not wanting to intrude on that side of families business, we just settled on a place to meet close to where they were staying with family.
I finally got to meet his significant other. She seemed very nice. I gave my boy his Christmas presents and a nice little Canna Care package. Since I didn't order the parts soon enough to do the rebuild on my suspension of the car for Christmas, we finalized me coming out for a week after the finishing of the Autoseeds run.
Me and Asian Haze had quite a few "conversations" on the way home. So much that I had to roll down the window and let the cold bring me back to Earth!
Got back home just in time to take a look at the girls just for lights out. Then I got an email and saying that my laptop will be in a day early, today!
Yesterday was a good day!

My success with STS has been mixed. It now seems to me that unless you mix your own STS from pure silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate, the commercially available pre-mix stuff varies enormously in strength and freshness, so results and the techniques needed vary accordingly. Having said that, if your mix is burning plants, you need to reduce the strength and/or the frequency of application.
With fresh STS mixed from pure chemicals, I find the stuff far too toxic for the strains I have tried. Applying liberally every couple days as I did with CS reliably killed every plant, every strain, no exceptions. Backing off to very light applications only to nodes had inconsistent results, but did not kill everything. I am just now starting a test run of a few plants to try to figure out application rates with STS diluted to 1/2 of the standard concentration. The jury will be out for six weeks or so.
At any rate, if you are seeing burning, you need to reduce the concentration by adding distilled water. And I would back off applications to no more than once in 4 or 5 days until male flowers are well developed. Just my two cents for now given my experience and a hell of a lot of searching about this issue. Good luck with it.
