Am I just stoned or is this stupid, I just watched the salt truck go up the street spreading salt, then comes a plow right behind him. Gonna be a nice pile of salt at the end of the street, not? Maybe I should ask were they get their beans.

I’m no expert but i believe the salt melts the snow so it makes it slushier for the plow to be able to clear more in a single pass! My states not known for snow but they use salt when the bridges ice! To prevent it too but they usually fuck up and wait til the ice is here before they go out!

Either that or they need to time their routine better so the plow comes first! Thats always an option!

Drank the first cup of a new Brazil/Guatemala blend roasted yesterday. This is going to be a winner in a day or two. A little bright today.

The Weather here is Sunny California low 60s, it has been foggy in the mornings but burning off early - mid day.

Shrimp, egg, poached in tomatoes, mashed potatoes, granola, yogurt mycelium and blueberries. The long black was good with so much potential for tomorrow.

Good Day @Mossy ......I am still waiting for an appointment with the surgeon..........I have a feeling that this is going to be my year. It has been a very tough winter for me because of my mobility. People tell me I should get a motorized cart or wheelchair, but I refuse because once you are in one you never heal enough to get out. I fight through the pain and try to maintain some muscle mass. Walking is still doable on level ground, but I had to give up walking in the forest . The roots and such make it too hard on the knees.

Are you headed for knee replacement, if so, I might have some advice. My wife had one done on Dec 19. Her recovery is going really well. Good luck with it.

This will be my second knee to get done. The first one they had to redo 6 years after initial replacement. I'm getting good at the rehab process.

Law in the UK says if you path is covered in snow and someone falls...it is an act of god...

But if you clear you path of snow and someone falls...you are responsible...so they can sue you.......

Not mine.....I've been growing since the 70's.......... I doubt they will make it illegal again, but they might make some new restrictions
