Happy Sunday to all! It rained, froze, and then turned to snow here, supposedly for 12 more hours. My jogging group was cancelled this morning because it was too slippery. The snow on top of the ice helps, but also makes you plant your heel confidently. I fell ass over teakettle yesterday carrying in the groceries, but no damage done. Supposed to go up to 28°F today (-3°C). The days are getting longer. The garden is looking ready for Springtime:

Sounds like your weather is pretty poor. Watch that snow on ice, before it binds to the ice surface, if it does, it just makes the ice more slippery. I fell a few days ago because of this, went down seriously hard flat on my back, and my head hit so hard that the whiplash made the muscles on the front of my neck sore for a couple days. The only reason I was not seriously concussed is that it was -25C at the time, and my head was padded by a heavy toque, a heavy buff over top of that, plus by complete accident, the bunched up hood behind my head on my extra heavy down jacket. And maybe the bit of snow over the ice where I hit. I didn't even see stars. Had it been warmer, and me dressed more normally, I would have been knocked out cold. And I was on a trail on my own, unlikely to be found any time soon. I got lucky. I have not done dog walk without ice grippers since then. :pighug:

Well peeps, the main grow is done, the last big girl is in the dryer (which is still doing it's job perfectly). Here is the bud headed for the dryer:

This is my Stone's Dragon x 24 Carat cross. She turned out completely black, but I didn't do a portrait - the tacoed leaves were not inspiring. Tacoed or not, this is a nice load of fat bud. It will be interesting to see the weigh in. Given the size of the buds, I have a tough time guessing. We will know in due course.

Happy growing peeps. :pighug:
