Definitely not gluten free or low carb!
I'd camp out of that locker room for sure!!!!
Where's the damn ketchup?
Yeah, I avoid those big box stores. My last few computers I got online. I even bought one directly from China that arrived in 5 days with free shipping. I use newegg.com a lot for computer stuff. And eBay.comYeah! No 'Butt Shoving' had to occur!!!
I think the biggest problem was Best Buy's method of taking calls. It seems that if the store doesn't answer in a certain time frame, the call goes to their 'customer service '...... I use the term extremely loosely...…...in some damn call center that is most assuredly not in the US!
That would kind of explain the communication problem, with me having to repeat myself with multitudes of times. Their computer systems must not be linked very well. While being told three times on the phone that they did not show any purchase, the young man in the store found it quite quickly.
This insight was provided by the people at the store.
That's really pretty pathetic. They didn't like the policy of forwarding the calls at all! The system is also totally screwed up. Many times it told me that the store was closed, when it was during working hours! But naturally it didn't inform me and hang up on me until quite a few minutes of going through the different stages of answering and waiting for them to even answer.
I think Best Buy is making some very poor business moves. Now it may have had good intentions with giving a quick and consistent answering of the phone, but they damn sure aren't executing it very freaking well! I think I'd rather wait and get the actual answer .....from the place I bought it. There's absolutely no accountability with the system the way they have it now. If they don't change their strategy, they're going to go by the way of that Ummmm..... Really big electronic store where you can get just about any thing possible related to electronics, but they went out of business....... And forgotten!!!!
Was it Circuit City?...... Bigger!
Was it comp usa? BIGGER!!!
Was it Fry's Electronics?
GIVE THE MAN HIS STUED ANIMAL!!!
Honestly, I had to look that up! I was looking at Fry's electronics. I forgot about those other two!!!!
Anyway it's straightened out and I will be getting my new computer Wednesday. Also they will not be a $99 charge as the stupid call center said! That was another reason for my real piss poor attitude toward them.
I really question any future dealings with them. I think I would have to see a marked change in their customer service. They do have some pretty crappy ratings currently on Yelp. I think it was below 2.5.
I don't know. Loyalty is earned. They have had mine for quite a few years! I really don't want to add up how much money I've spent at that place!!!
Customer service at the store was good and most importantly honest. The employees were clearly dissatisfied with the situation themselves.
I did kind of screw with them a little bit at the store, though. I got too much of my dad in me. I intentionally dressed with my "This Veteran is medicated....... FOR YOUR PROTECTION!" Ball cap and my "Do you think I care?" Shirt..... A skeleton with his arms crossed with a bird sitting on his shoulder with it holding a flower and flowers growing out of it..
When I explained all the BS I had gone through this morning, the young man genuinely apologized for it it says this occurs quite often. He remarked about it he can understand how frustrated I was. I pointed to my hat and said, "There's a reason I wear this." And then just pointed to my shirt.
I did catch a bit of apprehension, so I just laughed and smiled.
He laughed!
Anyway thanks for letting me get this crap off my chest and kind of inform people a bit. I hadn't realized their service had gotten so crappy. I suggest if you have a problem and make a phone call to the store, your first question should be did I get a hold of the store!! If they say no, just hang it up!
Now back to your regular scheduled Live Stoner!
.
I'm definitely thinking about that. I've bought stuff from Newegg and got good service.Yeah, I avoid those big box stores. My last few computers I got online. I even bought one directly from China that arrived in 5 days with free shipping. I use newegg.com a lot for computer stuff. And eBay.com
No sense in buying TVs with the thought of repairing them anymore. Decent TVs are like $200 and up. Intentionally made to toss and replaceTheir prices are comparable and they repair what they sell
