We had a LOT of rocks on our farm growing up where dad setup our slip and slide. Ours was more of a "slip and get really fucking hurt."

We found out real quick that the driveway and shitty lawn was no place for the slip'n'slide. The old Italian lady up on the main road had a huge front lawn of the toughest best looking Bermuda. She let us use the lawn whenever it needed watering, a lot in the summer. You could still get a "lawn burn" if you slid off the side going fast but it was like a foam rubber cushion under the slide. We loved that thing.
