The chlorophyll is freeze dried and preserved. The terpines don't meld and marry.

I have had commercialy produced pot that I am certain was freeze dried. It was crispy, smelled great, but I found the vapor and smoke harsh even after jarring with boveda. Mind you it was one jar from one producer...
