I'm not used to doing photos. Every DLI calculator I tried for 12/12 light schedule came up short, so for the Lemon Z photos I just piled on as many lights as I could. That's (3) 200w and (3) 100w lights between floor joists, for 2 plants. The other LemonZ plant has (1) 200w and (2) 100w boards to herself. The 144 year-old floor joists are spaced on 20" centers, and encased in aluminum trim coil:

In one of the Dr. Bugbee videos he cited research that the plants will continue producing THC as long as they have nutrients and light. I don't remember which video it was though.

i understood it differently and have also seen side by side tests where extended dark times before harvest increased cannabinoid content so i dont know who to believe, as with most subjects lol

DLI hasnt been a problem but my temps have been between 85-90degrees at times and pushing the extraction fan with this extremely low humidity causes other issues! The plants seem fine the highest i got was 92degrees amd no sogns of heat stress. DLI is 58-62 in my tent amd i supply a but of natural C02 from me , Boris and Squirttle. Thats with the Photone app and a paper diffuser. I used the paper that gave me the lowest reading so i would be on the safe side.

The plants seem fine the highest i got was 92degrees amd no sogns of heat stress. DLI is 58-62 in my tent amd i supply a but of natural C02 from me , Boris and Squirttle. Thats with the Photone app and a paper diffuser. I used the paper that gave me the lowest reading so i would be on the safe side.

I turned off my natural gas space heater because the lights are enough to get my grow room temperature up to high 70's. Last night it did get down to 60°F after 12 hours of lights off though, so I guess I'll keep the heat on low.

Don’t think you’ll see much difference in that poundage it's all stiff it's not a easy no matter what I use both hands and a foot to tie it. The fg knot is the hardest knot I’ve ever learned and still struggle with it especially when it’s rough and windy then I resort to the double uni knot. The fg knot just goes through the guides like there is not a knot there better then any other

I probably am not tying FG right but when I test it wet and push on the knot it lets go like Chinese finger cuffs. I will keep trying because I like the slimness of the knot. I am going to take a lot more convincing because the double Uni is a pretty small knot, even at that it may not be good for casting distance.

Anybody tried stressing plants the last week to maybe kick some more flavor out of them? Thinking about flashing my light and uva at them, but giving them the same dli Don't think I've seen anybody try it... @Son of Hobbes Got any science of knowledge about something like this?

@JP1 the one thing I have done to improve terpenes is carbohydrates that noticeably works. I use a single application of Bud Candy two weeks prior to harvest and then molasses one week prior to harvest. Try it you'll like it.

Spoiler: On the menu:

GF Tempura Shrimp and vegetables, pork pot stickers and sticky rice. The tempura was so good and so much I didn't eat the rice. Soaked the shrimp in some baking soda, then potato starch before the batter. Very good.

U realize u can just lower the light so it’s closer to the plants that way u can turn it down so it produces less heat but still gives u the necessary dli #’s!
