I'm just sticking to brown bags

I’ve lost a few big colas to mold over the years. Not too much but it sure is a pisser when you put so much work into a plant and you lose part of it at the end.
So far, I have lost lots to mold but only during the grow in far too humid conditions when I started this grow mischief. So far, I have escaped mold in my indoor stuff, and the fingers and toes are crossed. :pighug:

I don't try to dry big colas intact though, I now wet trim to final or close to final bud size. I think that the combination of full wet trim to bud and then a controlled dry in a cannatrol or equivalent may be the best of all options. I will soon have more information on that theory. :bighug:

I'm working on the new (well, old, but broken) visual styles at the moment, if shit get's weird, you've been warned.
Shit is always a bit weird around here, but friendly and enjoyable anyway. Thanks for your work on this stuff. :bighug:

I’ve finally started experimenting with breaking down big stuff during the cure. I always break them up putting them in the jars but I’m now breaking up some in the sacks. Depending on cola size and garage conditions.

I don't know if that's the "proper" numbers just stock image from their website I would see what users are actually using for numbers. I know frank just used stock settings.

I wanna get me one just cause the simplicity but haven't had the extra coin maybe by the end of this year for now I'm just sticking to brown bags and a small tent
The settings in the photo are of a unit set up to their recommendations which are 53F dewpoint and 68F air temperature. What I screwed up is not remembering that that recommendation was for dewpoint, not RH, and I didn't find a detailed photo when I was digging around for one, and I could not find an operating manual which also would have clarified. I would have noticed the error if the equivalent RH level seemed completely out to lunch, but drying to 53% rather than 57% did not seem hugely too dry, so I didn't twig. 57% is closer to the generally accepted target of 0.6 water activity, but either .53 or .57 would likely produce decent bud. Perhaps for actual joints, the burn would be better at .57 water activity rather than .53, but I would not know because I don't combust. For vaping or extracts, the error would likely have made little or no difference.

Anyway, I really appreciate you picking up on the mistake, and have done some editing to fix up my commentary on the issue. :bighug:
