Read this if you you have any inflammatory disease.Cholesterol can be a problem regardless of diet. The doc probably assumed he ate meat. Alot of vegetarian diets, especially modern diets with all the fake meats amd such can be really unhealthy .
- Good fats become good cholesterol.
- Bad fats become sticky cholesterol.
- Too much fat is too much cholesterol, both good or bad kinds.
The bad cholesterol ends up becoming the types of prostaglandins that promote inflammation. Whereas good cholesterol can reduce inflamation.
Similarly the testosterones and eventualy estrogens are affected, so ladies with period pain might improve things after a couple months of reduced bad fats.
So this goes way beyond heart health!
