Wasn’t so bad! Up way earlier than usual cuz i drove my pops to work and the small state highway thst runs from our neighborhood right to the Marriott he works at was pretty dang clear! Side streets not so much and was deep enough in several spots to where i could hear it clanked into my exhaust under the car!

I don't have a bit of frozen precipitation of any kind.

It is now the coldest it has been since the sunset 33*F

I would definitely buy a house with its own private pond if i hit the big winner! :headbang:
Where I grew up in Woodbridge, Connecticut, the building code required they build a pond next to each house for the fire department to pump water in case of fire (there was no municipal water or sewers or fire hydrants). But that area was mostly deciduous forests and swamps, so the water table was only a few feet underground and if you bulldozed a hole it would fill with water by itself. L.A. is in a desert, probably not possible there. We'll probably be getting climate refugees from California now.

I woke up in one of "those" moods!:face::gassy:

I think it's from seeing all the fires out in California.

In '94 We had a pretty severe drought and we had months upon months of wildfires. When I bought my farm, I became a member of the volunteer fire department there in the little community in order to protect my community.

I lost count how many fires I went to that year! I had many many fire breaks cut into my property. I set up a pumping station at the end of my pier going into my little lake. My tractor had a spray rig attached to it at all times. My uncle was living with my mom at the time and I had him come out and live in my travel trailer. I was a single parent at the time and I needed someone available at the farm in case something came up to take care of my son.

I was always on edge! It felt like being on a deployment! Always kind of having that "Sword of Damocles" hanging over your head at all times . Just that constant nagging apprehension hanging in the background!

That's kind of what I'm feeling this morning for damn reason! :face:

I think it's time for a couple of infused mini cupcakes and a nice vape session with Rucu Cucu. Maybe I can get into a mood to finish all the rearranging I've got to do before this next run.
