If you put them out a bit later the veg time will be less, equaling smaller plants…
I really don't need to grow really
tall outdoor plants. If I can grow shorter plants I can grow them in a more ideal area to get the sun. For the most security for growing bigger plants I have to move them to a less optimal sunshine area.
I have super tall trees, especially on the east side. I can get fairly decent sun from the west, but it has to be in a more vulnerable spot.
Now what I could do is also plant some big tomatoes in the more open and visible area. That might not make it so obvious there's something else back there.
I really only had two decent success outside. The conditions are just not very good. The trees also block wind. It can get pretty damn stagnant. I think if I put a fan back there it would draw some attention.

I was so damn disappointed when Snow G got the rot! I think she frosted up quicker than any plant I've grown so far! She definitely packed it on quick. I had to play musical cannabis plants and they were just not a place to grow them inside.
I do think an Earthbox outside has the best chance for survival. I think what I'm going to do is pop the Summer Lemons as soon as I get them. Put them in the 1gal after popping them in the rooters. Let them veg with the autos, probally in the 4x4. I vegged in those bags for a good time before I transplanted. You have to water fairly often with those bags but there are absolutely tons of root ends all throughout the bag. When she's ready to go outside in a regular earth box, if the conditions are halfway decent, she would blow up! I'm definitely going to top them! I think that'd be the easiest way to help control the height.
I think they'll still be pretty damn big. I think timely defoliation may be my best friend. I guess we'll see if the claims of hardiness against mode hold any water. I just hope she doesn't stink a whole lot.
