I'm high masking autistic, and can get 'lucky' at blackjack if I pay attention.

I've been tresspassed from a few places because of it.
The human brain is extremely fascinating in the way it functions.

I knew a guy that would go to the Indian Reservation casino on the east side of Phoenix and get a weekly 'paycheck'. He screwed it up when he got real greedy one weekend!

I've been able to do it at times, but I never pursued it to develop it more.

I had a roommate in nuke power school that was dyslexic and had a photographic mind. When he took notes, when it was allowed, I could read his notes perfectly if I held them up to a mirror. He had to teach himself how to in mirror image for the millions of tests that we took.

I'm a pretty good poker player, but I rely a lot on visual cues. If I'm at a casino I will sit and watch a table for quite a while before I try to get in.

Oh hell no dude I was too busy smoking weed for that I barely graduated  :rofl::rofl::rofl:

You guys graduated?

Jk I graduated too but from from a continuation school.. not sure what they are called other places but it was where they sent all the underachievers to do packet work so they can push you across the finish line. Got my diploma but public education is shit so can't say I learned much.

Summer School? I don't know, I got a GED :crying:
Yeah next step would have been GED for me, summer school didn't work cause like regular school I ditched alot. Continuation school was the last ditch effort for the school system to keep it's graduating numbers from completely dropping. Packet work to be turned in at the end of the week and teachers not riding your ass was more my speed. I always hated school till I got to continuation.

I walked out of a class my senior year in HS. Got cross ways with a teacher. I had to take night school 2 days a week all summer to graduate. Was too hard headed to think about going to college. I could have been a contender. 😔
Good thing you didn't go to college you'd have huge debt and no job so you kinda came out on top :eyebrows::rofl:

Yeah I was just joking about the regret. lol
I’ve had several opportunities to go back to college. The FD would pay for you to go and pay you for college hours the rest of your career. I was working two jobs and raising kids. Just wasn’t my thing. I’m good with it.

OK, I'll fess up. I flunked out of 11th grade because I just wasn't interested. I got my GED when I was 33, while in Club Fed for smuggling weed on the high seas. By that time I had enough life experience to pass the GED without studying for it. I had already learned celestial navigation while out to sea, learned French from hanging out on the docks of Haiti and French West Indies, and learned Spanish in the seaports of DR, PR, Venezuela, and Colombia. So it's not that I didn't get an education, just not the traditional way.
