Lol I've attempted hand feeding baby rats back when I was breeding, very early on. They require feeding every 30 minutes or so along with stimulation in order to void their bladders/bowels. Think kittens, but more frequent and you have to feed them with a tiny paint brush it didn't end well, for the record. I never attempted it again. Learned to always have multiple pairings so you have foster moms available.

This whole unmedicated bullshit with the kids is driving me over the edge. #2 was supposed to be working on his project last night. He was supposed to take his poster with him to school today. I reminded him 5 minutes before they left. Picked him up and was like where is your poster? "Oh I forgot to bring it with me." Like does not even care. And yeah I totally get it. I went through all of school unmedicated and it absolutely fucking sucked. But he is making the choice not to do it. I'm taking him to my mom's to do it in a little bit cause they have a printer and like while I know it's gonna suck for him cause she's really not nice about this kind of stuff I really don't know what else to do. Like, he has to present this in front of not only his schoolmates but also *other kids* that are going to be part of the regional competition. I'm not like... mad mad cause like I said I get it but holy shit is it frustrating as hell. Ugh.
