Good Morfnoevight All you Happy Caturday Live Stoners.

It stopped raining long enough to check the rain gauge this morning 3.1 inches in 48 hours. That may not seem like a lot to many of you but we only get ~11.5 inches a year. I have logged 14.95 inches since the water year started in October, so a lot more time to set a record.

I went to the farm market and scored some Lion's Mane mushrooms today.

I am sick and tired of not being able to get and keep the RH up in my grow space. I am going to build something - stay tuned.

Just switched all my starting seeds from rockwool to coco coir. I have no damn luck with the rockwool, only about 1 in 4 of my seeds are coming up. And some that do come up can't push through the rockwool, its too hard. So I've had some weird shit like the root come up instead of the seed, or the root twists into a pigtail.

Went to Lowes this afternoon, 27 gallon store brand black totes with yellow lids for $12. I bought 6. My plan is to use the totes for stuff like lettuce, peppers, etc. 5 gallon buckets for tomatoes, and then 30 gallon drums for my cucumbers and melons.

Those yellow strips are awesome. I've got a couple generously dusted with fungus gnat carcasses.

Indeed, indespensable for s cucumber beatle in the summer too. I use them here for population control as a census. When I 1st hung one it was covered. Now I see only one or tw a day.

It was high 60s yesterday, low 40s today

84 Wednesday here and was my 3rd day in shorts….then last 3 days back in the low 40’s!
