She posted this morning. She said she has felt worse. Not a shining report, but an improvement.Anyone heard from Mossy yet? Hoping she;s ok
I paper bag dry after a short hang. Personally 1x a day I open them (I close the tops by folding and hold with a paper clip) and gently turn them by hand so the bottom ones are now on top (more or less I don't go diviya). I've also seen some where where at least one person recommended 2 bags nested together 1 right side up the other upside down. They take the bag and gently turn it over as a unit. Same idea ...Question for you guys who paper bag dry...do I need to shake up the bags daily and redistribute the bud inside the bag so its not sitting in one position for a week, I assume yes. Just clarifying...
I'm guessing they just choose the mason jars cause you can use the ring to hold tyvek in place to minimize the effect of a spill??excellent idea, although you might want more surface area for your brine, a single mason in a small cupboard may not exchange water quickly enough because the area of liquid exposure is small, and the jar isolates the liquid somewhat from air in the cupboard. If you just made one of the shelves water tight so you could put a full sized puddle in there, it might work a treat.
I now do something similar but on a smaller scale. I keep pill containers of different strains ground up and ready to go in a plastic nut container, and I throw in a bunch of Bovedas to keep the RH at ~62%. Seems to work. Especially since the Bovedas are dead easy to recharge. You could also use some big bovedas in your cupboard idea instead of mixing your own stuff.
I figured as much. Im trying to adjust my dry and cure practicesYes, light shake. Don't open the bag or it will mess with the humidity in the bag.
Again another idea that would have never crossed my mind. Using a paper bag as a lid...I would say creative but now that I think about it, I cant believe I never thought about it. I gave them a light shake. Though I did open them to take my humidity sensors out.I paper bag dry after a short hang. Can't say if this is right or wrong just the way I do it
