So....Me mentioning being 62 years old, 6'1" and weighing the same 190 lbs that I did in high school would be a little knife twisting? :baked:

Maybe for some but not me I weighed more in high school then I went to work and lost all the weight climbing towers and doing meth :wall::joy:

@Lil Dab can you give me a good ppfd on the marshydro fc3000 at 12in...please I'll calibrate the photon app to its ppfd....it will help give me a good idea...if you wouldn't mind giving me a couple height recommendations...thanks again...

This was Dale after a long day of climbing towers! :yoinks::rofl:

At 100% I'd just follow the chart off their site.. I'm not running 100% more 75% at like 20-24" from canopy right now and working in the other tent atm I see what I can do for you later :d5:

Don't know how accurate this is but I have seen a few posts on the net about making your own salt solutions to create a fixed humidity (curing your stuff)
The ones Ive seen seem to use distilled H2O sugar (dissolve into water first and salt (add 2nd).

Straight up saturated brine puts you at around 75% RH (too high).

Here's a copy of what I read. I flat out copied this it's not my work but it comes from another site so I'm not posting a link cause I'm not sure if that's a big no no here. I feel bad not giving him credit but what can ya do so thanks to Jermamma420 for this work.

100 grams (ml) of distilled water
17.5 grams Sugar
70 grams of Non iodized salt.
Container (ball jar with outer threaded ring) with barrier. (Jar/Tyvek where the inner seal goes)

Completely dissolve sugar into 100 mL water. Add salt to create a saturated solution (still will be salt at bottom). Mark jar to show finished water level to give reference level.

The more sugar the lower the RH.
20g sugar= 51% RH
18g sugar= 60% RH
17.5g sugar= 62% RH

My thought is build a desiccator/Humidor with shelves and store your curing stuff in it letting the mason jar of this solution control the humidity.

Kinda like this but way way less fancy. Maybe a frame outta ripped down strapping with 1/8" luan/underlayment for sides and framed acrylic for a door???View attachment 1567084
excellent idea, although you might want more surface area for your brine, a single mason in a small cupboard may not exchange water quickly enough because the area of liquid exposure is small, and the jar isolates the liquid somewhat from air in the cupboard. If you just made one of the shelves water tight so you could put a full sized puddle in there, it might work a treat.

I now do something similar but on a smaller scale. I keep pill containers of different strains ground up and ready to go in a plastic nut container, and I throw in a bunch of Bovedas to keep the RH at ~62%. Seems to work. Especially since the Bovedas are dead easy to recharge. You could also use some big bovedas in your cupboard idea instead of mixing your own stuff.
