We're kind of outside civilization lol. Just a little village and minimal government...We got our supplies in the fall as usual, getting set up for winter. We are normally pretty isolated but this year there is a noticeable reduction in socializing even here. We can order groceries from town, they come on the mail plane

You are really in the wilderness, part of me would love that and part of me wonders if I would go crazier than I already am
That is awesome that you can order groceries tho, saves you time getting to the village (I think I remember Trail used dogsled or boat depending on time of year not sure about you). It just fascinates me tho, but I think I have a romanticized view of it vs as I said, would I just go bonkers?

In and out by boat or plane, and the road is nearby accessable by boat. The road is usually impassable all winter because of snow in the hills, but not this year so far. 100 miles to a little town down the island. People are mostly avoiding the trip. And it's true, it's not suitable for everyone lol. If you can fit in with a tiny eccentric community though...

It's too bad they let our ferry system go to hell, you used to be able to get here from Prince Rupert and travel around the region at leisure
