That will work!
Thank you kind sir. It was you who turned me on to the wonderful world of dolomite! Also while I’ve gotcha here, have you(I am guessing not since you make your own dirt) used coast of Maine products at all or have you seen any folks using the strongigham mix?

I am just wondering how it compares to the kindsoil from a few years ago. I am goin with the mix it all up then dig a “starter hole” with just base medium. Just wondering if my ratio of coast of Maine to roots organic will be the same

I use CoM in my raised beds, it's good compost! I don't use it in my mix indoors as I have a shellfish alergy and I tend to mix by hand. I use one bag per 4x8 raised bed, every other year.

And my opinion was the Kind Soil was garbage 1/2 of the testers had issues with it, myself included.

Oh badarse! You also used kindsoil if I remember correctly right? If I am gonna mix it with roots organic original should I go 2/3 CoM and 1/3 roots?

I'd say no more than 50/50.

Gotcha, I liked the kindsoil myself lol.
So I am mixing up 60,three gallon pots.

I have 15 bags of CoM and 5 bags of roots organic. I should get 5 more bags of roots and then mix 10 and 10 to get aprox 60 3 gallon pots. So that’s 180 gallons of soil right? By that calculation I should add 135 CUPS of dolomite lime? That sounds like a lot lol

That would be 36 cups, or 2,25 gallons you forgot to divide the 180 by 5 which gives you 36
