I was a Cub Scout and then a Boy Scout............ Be Prepared. I have a fully mobile kitchen. I have a generator and fuel for two weeks without siphoning fuel from our cars. Cars are always topped off at 1/2 tank. I have solar with a battery back-up. I have a fireplace insert that can easily heat the house and a cord of wood. I have two tents, sleeping bags and a porta-potty. My freezer is always stocked with a months worth of food along with dried and canned food. I have a hand held short wave radio, several walkie talkies and arms with ammunition. I am not a preper but I am prepared.

I don't count on the government to be here when needed.

LOL! I've been too lax since moving.
My biggest problem is not having my generator serviced and ready to run.
I always have plenty of food stored, tons of water storage available, a full pallet of wood pellets and naturally plenty of arms and ammo.

Good news is I have water back with no busted pipes!
