In my solarium it's 78F and sunny, at least for a few days. Oh, and for a few hours a day:crying::rofl:

My son said the same this morning @Jraven...:pass: ....cold outdoors but the sun made the solarium Bliss......

Local Press here says the police have made loads more drug busts since lock down stopped you travelling outside your own County.
They can legitimately Stop anyone crossing.

Weather forced the postponement of our appointment this week, but they will try again in a couple weeks. Alaska is doing pretty good with getting it out to the villages that don't have medical facilities:thumbsup:
 
Cold BS weather here! Just got a little ice when the front came thru. I could hear thunder north of me quite a bit last night. They got way more ice. With all the pine trees I have, it wold have been really nasty with lots of ice.

Chicken and Dumplings is in order!
 
I just boned out 20# of chicken thighs to make stock for Quenelle and ground chicken breakfast and Italian Sausage. When pork was off the menu I developed a recipe for chicken sausage. It is very easy to make and freeze in patties or skinless links.

20# chicken thighs bone-in skin-on.
10# boneless skinless chicken breasts.

Bone the thighs leave the skin on and cut into cubes with the cubed breasts that fit through your meat grinder. Divide the chicken into 3 gallon bags.

1 bag of chicken Breakfast:

1 Tbs. salt
1.5 Tbs. Sage
1 Tbs. Thyme
2 tsp. Black Pepper
2 Tbs. sugar
1 Tbs. Red Pepper Flakes

1 bag of chicken Italian:

1 Tbs. Garlic Powder
1Tbs. Salt
2 Tbs. Anise Seed or Fennel Seed. (I use 1 Tbs. of each)
1 Tbs. Red Pepper Flakes
2 tsp. Black Pepper
2 Tbs. Black Sambuca - You really need this! I use more :stir:

Add the spices to the cubed chicken mix well and refrigerate overnight. Grind and form into patties or links and freeze for latter use. To make a link use plastic wrap to roll up a link shape meat mass and freeze. Remove the plastic wrap and cook from frozen to keep the shape.

Chicken is cooling and the stock is reducing. Damn smell is killing me!

I'm not snacking until I eat me dumplings!
