Hard lock down Works.....but look at the Price it cost to let everyone out shopping/mixing in December.
Easing lock down for Easter....without mass vaccinations....which is impossible...means Easter will be the next big wave..sigh......
Lockdowns only delay things. Masks only help shorten needed distancing.
Washing your hands often, keep your hands away from your mask and face, limit household visitors to like mindsets as yours(Their contacts will be yours), limit your contact with susceptible people, be mindful of distancing and just use common sense is FAAAAAAR more effective than and god damn lockdown and/or closing of businesses.
I'm a grown man and I don't need "Mommy Govt" holding my damn hand while walking thru this life....no matter what damn side of the fence "Mommy Govt" sits!
It's just a shame that too many people in this world are too stupid and/or lazy to follow and be diligent to adhere to very simple means of not transmitting this damn Chinese bullshit.

My wakey bakey always comes first before I read mush about the chinese efforts to make the world look like them...
Areas here in the states are having similiar waves and to blame it on 'the gatherings' further causes disruption in families as some react by not seeing those we care for....I see how it's affecting nursing homes where people simply give up from thinking their loved ones have abandoned them when it's only the fuc&in govt shit....

I'd LOVE to have my Mom back, been 5yrs now, but it would be torture for her to not be able to have visitors, whether her was in a nursing home or at home.
I think Pop would be happy with how I kept my promise to take care of her. I let her do her own thing and she blossomed a lot at age 62. After getting my farm, it took 5 years to get her to move and I built her a home when she did. When she got sick, it was very painful to not be able to bring her home. It was bitter-sweet to visit her each day, and with most days her not recognizing me. I'm thankful that she only had to endure the nursing home for 4 months.
I'm still bitter with her doctor and nursing home for insisting on keeping a catheter in a person that went to the hospital for a urinary tract infection. The infection would begin to get better, but there was that damn catheter there to reinfect! I wonder if the attending doc was just that god damn stupid or just lock steppe with the nursing home to keep labor costs down. I should have blasted their collective asses with a lawsuit.
