Seed Bank List of U.S.A. breeders

I want to have a list of breeders sortable by country, where they ship to, whether they have autoflowers, photoperiods, maybe add in payment method allowed, their contact information, if we can get their preferred method of contact (out of their own mouth lol,) and anything else relevant. I'll add in links to their social sites, links to their forums on AFN, etc.
That's a great idea.

What makes a company a USA breeder? The strains were originally bred AND seeds are grown in AND sold from the US? The strains were originally 'bred' or developed in the US? All, most or some seeds grown in US? Owner(s) in US? Seeds are sold and shipped from US? US address at Web site, social media, etc.?

What if Mephisto had continued to do their breeding in the UK and contracted for seeds to be grown in and sold from Spain, would they be UK or Spanish breeders, or commonly labeled as both? What if a US company or grower made the strain(s), another US company or grower makes the seeds, and another sells for them - which party or are all considered USA breeders? [In the real world, professionally, I am often forced to assign a single location for companies, and it often comes down to arbitrary decisions. Since this is often for publication, I generally make the safest choice, what I presume most other experts would pick, and avoid having any set guidelines].

And what about individuals (vs. companies) being breeders? None have been mentioned so far.

Don't know.
I just cut and pasted into a spreadsheet, then reposted here.
The ones I added are US breeders.
OK, good. But these lists are now published and retrievable forever on the Internet, and ideally there should be some minimal explanation or criteria cited or discussed about what these or other such lists of USA (or any country's) breeders are or should to be.

By now, are there any good legal or trade association definitions of 'breeder' or the country where seeds were bred?

I would say where they are based would be a good start. Mephisto is a US breeder even though they may produce seeds in a different country. I kinda liken it to a US based company having all their stuff made in Covid19 land.:)

Mephisto has stores for multiple parts of the world but as far as I know they are US based.

See I also pegged Mephisto as European by source lol.

@BII has a point! lol

From what I know, Mephisto would clearly qualify by most any criteria as now a Spanish breeder. The actually breeding, where the principles/owners work, the raising and shipping/export of seed is all in Spain. As far as I am aware, the Mephisto "US based company" is just a 1- maybe 2-person seed order filling and billing employee, subsidiary or contractor. So in your view in this context, simply selling seeds (doing business in) the US makes that company a USA breeder?

Same as FastBuds, that's also European as far as I know.

Many consider and Fast Buds portrays itself as a USA breeder, and maybe all the strains are bred in the US (by 1 or many actual breeders?). But with the company refusing to sell/ship seeds to the US, I don't see how they could ever be considered as USA vs. Europe (Spain).
