I like the use of the threadmarks. Made it very easy to see which plant you were showing and writing about.
Thanks for letting me know DCL I was wondering if they made it better or worse :woohoo:

Threadmark points! You bet that they work, for me especially when I come back to the journal and need to navigate to find stuff.

I like your insta transplant setup, especially how you leave the rim intact and spread the bottom to lift it during the transplant. Excellent idea, which I will shamelessly copy later. When in your external solo, is the external cup the only bottom on the inner cup? Another excellent improvment over my approach. Three thumbs up mate, you taught this old bugger a couple new tricks. :thanks::pighug:

Yessir I cut the bottom off a cup completely and then slice up sides to the rim stop there. The external cup just has holes poked in the bottom.. It was the first time I did it and it worked great...Be Careful when separating the cups it wants to open up and drop soil in the process kinda hard to explain but i think you get the jest :pighug: thank very much for the rep looking forward to your upcoming grow please tag me in or just post in live stoners i'll see it

Yeah, the dropping soil is the main reason I use insta transplant cups. I place the intact bottomless cup in a fitted hole before lifting the sides leaving the soil and roots undisturbed in the hole. Works a treat, and allows effective transplanting as soon as the tap root shows. Otherwise, you have to wait until roots start to get wrapped in order to hold the medium together. My process is more of a pita than yours though because I have been using tape to hold a temporary bottom on, and to hold the two sides in place. Your setup is more secure before transplant and easier to do the deed when it is time. :pighug::thanks:
