Lights question

Build your own light. Quantum boards are pretty cheap and easy to put together. Cobs are also fairly cheap and easy to assemble. You could get a single cob driver for 25 or so, a cob chip and everything you need for 15 bucks or so. Minus a little wiring and a power cord your good to go.

I would love to build my own, but I'm afraid I am not anywhere skilled to build anything electric, I've done so much as changing a light bulb XD, I'd rather buy something already built even if it's a bit more expensive, in the past I've followed guides in YT to make different things and somehow I always ruin it, so I'd rather not waste money tbh, although maybe one day I'll do this. Thank you

MARS HYDRO TS 600W

After checking their website and reviews from different sites, I think this is a really good choice, I've got my eyes on the Mars TS 1000 which is full spectrum at 150w.
I'm going to get 2 of these for a 100x50x160 tent. I think it'll be enough for 2 plants.
Thanks all for the suggestions

I've never done anything with electric before building my first light. Not handy at all. I mean I screw simple shit up all the time. I started with a 3 cob chip light bar made of angled aluminum and a hlg driver. Took all of an hour to put together, another 30 minutes to get it wired and then it was off to the races to use it to grow some herb

My suggestion is to start with 1 cob chip, I heatsink a single hbg 60w driver and experience yourself how easy it really is. They have everything solderless now lol, that's the route I took. If you ever feel like building a light or anything of the sort theres so many people here who are super knowledgable on keeping it simple.

Either way bro good luck with your light search. I used mars hydro 600w panels at first and had awesome success. And Tina should hook it up with an afn discount.

Thanks! I believe I am gonna give it a go at making a cob as you suggested, although I cannot wait for the delivery so long so I settled for 1 TS1000. Since my tent is not so big (100cmx50cm) I believe 1 should be enough (correct me if I'm wrong).
Lets see how it all works out!
Now I need to search a odour control method!

Thanks guys, I guess I made a mistake buying these, on the box it says 75w=375 ea, so I thought 150w=750w light 13,500 lumens, but I guess it isn't, I guess I got to get my hands on another one, any recommendations for someone who spent too much already? :D
Get yourself a COB. DIY or pre assembled. COBSHOP.NET is an advertiser here on AFN and @BigSm0 is always willing to help with lighting questions.

When i made the switch from Blurples to high quality "white" LED light, quantum boards were not a thing yet...COBs were the hot new thing.

I have no experience with qbs, but know that a single COB light can get you from seed to harvest for around $100.

I'm gonna see how it goes with 1 ts 1000 mars hydro, but I might diy one cob!
