as long as you can keep temps in the right place no light is to much in my opinion also welcome to AFN sleepy im sure one of the pros will be here to answer your question a little better.
A tent in a shed in Arizona is different to a tent in a shed in Alaska!
Some tents need active cooling during the day while others need heating, especially at night.
From my experience a 600W will overheat your tent.
I have two 400W HID in an 11X8 room and they heat that large space up to 30+ degrees C!
So i needed a portable AC unit to cool the room during lights on.
And with a proper reflector you should be good with 400W.
Go with 600W if you have all the correct equipment you will need.
I'm in the Shropshire an it been snowing but now it's about 8 degrees. Gonna run my lamp over night when it's colder an off at mid day. Will this be ok with the 600 watt lamp? I'm a first time grower so all advise is welcome. Thanks
I'm thinking keep the 600w lamp cos of how cold it is outside but cooling the tent by way of one of the one of the draw string outlets at the top to let heat out with a mesh over it so nothing can get in. that way I could control the heat hopefully. a friend of mine reakons I need a 600w for when it flowers!
im just experimenting with this before I get anything growing in there
what do people think of this idea? appreciate the feedback.
