These were led boards my brother turned in to. Individual cobs, as per his company innovation. Each little light is considered a cob now as the chip and optic dome has been added. View attachment 996483
Cob with 3500 and 5700 pieces under that lil chip on board orange gooe on top View attachment 996485

My point is there maybe a way to make it simple say this is cob that's led for battles, with simple pics, but if one really gets in to lights u can see similar components being used that may make one believe it something else. But from the top engineering guy at my brothers place is canna friendly and cool, now big company's cant decide to promote quantum boards or cobs as the new wave as they are both superior compared to past and present and where the lighting world is headed. But by may 2019 my brother will have a fully functional light system that mimics the sun and will rise and fall in his grow room. The lights power the track rollers by heat it's coolto watch it when he's got it going. I have lots of lights to build but boards are my first choice. As photos seen better in them , finishing a coblight fixture on Wednesday has 2 x 1750k in middle and 2 x 4700k on each end. @Mossy I wanna see a battle with autocobs against built cobs, I've done my own but need more inputs to say one is better than the other.
I'm down for a friendly light battle
