Indoor Lighting for autoflower seedlings

Hello,

I have just sprouted a couple of speed devil #2 + Fast bud # 2s both autos and have been wondering as they are autos am I better to just chuck them straight under a 600 watt bad boy as I belive is best not to re pot autos or have them under a 125watt CFL for first 14 days?

Personally, I use T5HO 24/0 for 3-4 weeks on seedlings......a 600w is likely to be a bit intense for the small ones...

cool thanks for the advice. I have always been interested in veging solely in high powered CFL's just to see the out come you ever tried this?

cfl for sure. 24hrs IMO atleast until they sprout if ur trying to save money on electricity. I use 600w of combination of cfls and t5s for 120 babies in 4" jiffy pots. You can definitly repot them. If your not limited on space and just have a few seeds go ahead and plant them into the pot you want them to finish them. Welcome to the forum

Welcome, you can successfully veg & flower under CFL's, 100 true watts per plant is the rule of thumb for vegging, many people use more, use 65K lamps for vegging & 27K for flowering. Please consider posting a grow journal so that we may all learn from one another.
