New Grower lighting-24/0, 20/4, or 18/6..does and autoflower need a dark time? confused....

I'm a new auto grower. I am growing 2 Jock Horror autos in 3gal pots from Nirvana seeds. I'm using fox farms ocean forest and using fox farms nute trio. My girls are about 2 1/2 feet tall. They are 48 days from germ and 27 days from first white hairs. I'm doing a closet grow. Ive started out at 24/0 when I grow reg I switch light to flower and out goes the lights! However never grown AF the white hairs on these things are unbelievable,but sinse I've never seen a bud grow in light and these babies have never seen the dark,I can't tell what the best thing to do is? Some say 24/0,18/6,20/4 but what you start with you stay with or it will stress them? Don't know about them but (I"m STRESSED the out! Thanks for taking time to read this hope your day is great! PLEASE ANYBODY HELP I USE THIS FOR PAIN AND MI. COSTS AT (DIS) GANJA D!!!!!!

You should probably try the 20/4 sched.

Do they smell dank yet?

I usually run 24/0 till they sex, then switch to 20/4. Some prefer going 18/6 to save a bit on electricity. I'm running LEDs so not much of a savings so just stay with 20/4.

All plants should have a rest or dark period to process the energy it collected with lights on.At minimum four hours dark or I like 18/6.

Thank Bonzo Mendoza. Yes they smell very dank and are budding very well. The main cola is starting to form and all the other popcorn bud sites are really start to fill out nicely. Will I stress them out if I give them night now that they have been on 24/0 for 28 days into flowering? I don't want them to turn into hermies. Thanks GanjaD

Thanks namvet25. Do you think it will stress them out too much to change the light cycle from 24/0 to 20/4 in day 28 of flower (day 49 since germ)? That is my fear (hermies). Thanks GanjaD

It wont stress them going 20/4 If ther all flowering they wont change to hermies they will stay girls.

Even if they have never seen light? My plan was 24/0 untill first signs of flowering then 20/4 because they are autos? Then several people say what you start on you have to stay on or you will stress them? I grow outside never AF and with the small yeald OZ! I( heard )I have to get this right!!! THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND WHAT YOU SAY I'LL DO BECAUSE TIME IS SOMETHING I DONT HAVE! 45days old from germ!!
