Light stress?

I saw a picture of these symptoms at GWE's plant problem section and it was indeed light stress. Good that you caught it early, as it can
become worse. Much worse.
I'll keep an eye on that also! I've been backing them off to +30 inches but got nowhere left to run now  for now at least I'll keep the panel at 2 thirds power.

I run COB's in a 2x4. Lemme shock you. You only need the 2 AutoCOBs, that's it. Distance ? Start at 36" and work your way down. I don't run them any closer then 28" in flower at that wattage, i also remember Bigsm0 saying he runs them at that distance too so that should be a good place to start. I suggest you either turn off that blurple or spend then entire grow chasing "nutrient deficiencies", believe me been there done that.

Here is a White Crack that faded on me too quickly from too much COB love, i believe i was running a total of 150W across all 3. Next to it i have a Tangie'matic but the lights never went above 120W. Left plant is White Crack, right is Tangie'matic. Picture says it all. Same nutrients, soil etc., only difference was the light.

Hmmm much to ponder.. good job I’m smokin one :smoking:
The main motivation for redeploying the ms006 was that I suffered with low temps even with 3 autocobs and my little heater on, the last couple of runs, summer is on the way but not quite here yet. I wasn’t totally convinced of their flowering ability either but I think other factors may have been in play especially as I’ve seen others that have done well with em.
One things for sure Im now fairly convinced I’ve over egged the cal mag so I’ll try and be logical a start there and hopefully get a better idea of the soil ph at the same time.
@automan2 s grows have given me faith it can be done with a higher wattage per sq ft, well that and my record yield to date comes from using this light combo in this space BUT I only added the cobs a week into flower. It just happened to be when they were delivered. It was good quality bud as well I hasten to add. That said if I’m not able to correct this I will drop the ol blurple as the temperatures get better.
I should also add my third cob is not from cobshop.net as by BigSmo’s own admission shipping single ones to the UK is not economical. It does however use the same chip and I think driver, I believe it’s only the pin style heat sink that differs but I’ll try and look into it.

Thanks awfully for your time and advice Gents!
Will update here on how it goes or have a look at me diary in the indoor section!
:thanks:

So last night I watered using my mix of RO and a little bit of filtered boiled water, phd down from 7.2 - 6.6 to the point of saturation. I then went downstairs ate my dinner and smoked one (about an hour) then went up and watered again slowly with (and here’s where I may have gone wrong) with the same water 6.6 (think I should have used un phd RO) until I had some run off to test. The Gelato & Smoothie ran off at 5.1 and the Purp lemonade at 5.6. I can’t quite believe my soil PH is as low as 3.6 but there’s clearly a low PH issue here which now seems to be locking out calcium (figures) as I’m starting to see rust spots. As the plants don’t seem to be lacking anything else atm I’m just gonna water with the 7-7.2 RO/tap combo, not adjusted, in the hope I can raise the PH a little though suspect this will be negligible. I think it’s probably too late to add lime but if anyone has any other suggestions I’m all ears?
RE the lights I have stuck with the blurple for the time being for the sake of temps and RH. Even with the sun shining, 3 lights running and my extract on half power I’m still only hitting 72. Think I’ve spent my entire growing career fixing one problem and creating another. May just have to grow this one out, hopefully get some decentish bud and start again without smashing seedlings and young plants with cal mag from the off.
