My grow is in 16 day auto and i have lights 24/0 on light is sp2000 and reading all forum but can anyone tell me its good to use lights always on or i have to change it for 18/6 or 20/4 ? Any different in yields ? Thanks

I have only done either 20/4 or 18/6. However, I have learned from here that plants like to "sleep". Probably finish quicker with a 24/0 schedule, but you may compromise on quality. Are you up at 100% of the capacity of light or are you using the dimmer?

Yeild may be reduced with less light but Quality of the result is not affected by lighting schedules as long as all other parameters are in check.

I recommend 24/0 all the way until bloom, then giving 4-6hours a day with lights off until harvest.

I run 20-4 or 18-6. 20-4 mainly in the winter to keep temperatures up. At some point they need to rest experiment with it some and see what you like.

Yes i use dimmer atm its on araund %75 in 25inch above canopy, so if i switch to 20/4 now wont hurt the plants ? Or better just to keep how it is ? Im after qulity rather quantity.

Yes thinking to try this, but some are 17d old and a few 7 days but should be ok i believe.

It's up to you. I just think it's not worth it, running lights 24/7 with extra running costs and the wear on the light too. My pal grows, for whatever reason, on 16/8? He grows some nice looking and tasty buds.

Another thing is that you really need to be tuned in with the nutrients when running 24/0. With 20/4 or 18/6 you give them time Yo catch up. :pass:
