Indoor Light Distance Chart HPS/MH

Hi all,

I thought I'd just share these as I came across them in another forum and thought it would be informative for new growers. This doesn't apply to young seedlings, use this guide from around 2 weeks from sprout. For the first couple of weeks of your plants life it is recommended to keep the lights high (to the roof) just until they're strong enough to withstand the lights intensity. Guides are recommended for HPS/MH with use of a cooltube or air cooled hood as this doesn't account for heat.

Not bad!

Easy way to measure if its not too close - put your hand at the top of canopy. If you hold it there for 30 seconds and you don`t feel heat - its perfect.
