Outdoor Let the games begin : Season 4 DP, Dinafem, Sweet, Delicious

Don Skelly! ...that is interesting indeed, and right on line with what we have seen and suspected,...:smoker1:.... if that Cherry auto is as cherry-good as you said it was, it might be worth the risk!

Yeah i really quite liked the toke on the cherries!

if that Cherry auto is as cherry-good as you said it was, it might be worth the risk!--- and as an indoor/outdoor grow, should be a bit easier to control RH%/T at the critical time,... I'm sure some of the other strains are OK too, but I'll await actual inputs on them, forget what Bomb says,.. once fucked, twice--no, squared shy!

Yeah for sure man!! Obviously bomb hasnt seen a whole lots of their gear grown outdoors, or they would know what strains to recommend, and what ones not to!

Female Seeds Gennaro is one of those breeders that will flat out say unambiguously if a strain is weak against mold

I'll have to look a little closer into female seeds...maybe try one next season if they produce some fine specimens this summer for those growing them outside.

las for Atomic, it is fine fine smoke though! ... I wonder if it's Chem' heritage is behind the weakness,...

Yeah i know....its too bad for the mold resistance and the late flowering time on the atomic...because i really do quite like the toke. The smell on the long cure is wow strong!!

h, mate, if you are at all a bargin shopper, I saw at Attitude that Delicious is still having a sale, 30% off the line! I may buy a few 11 Roses and Golosa and park'm just to make good on that deal,.. not sure if it's at all the seed banks..?

Damn wish i had some spare cash!! Delicious has a few on my mind i want to try....if 11 roses holds up to their claims, i am going to try some delicious autos. Dont forget fruity chronic juice if you are rocking the delicious sale!!

Oh and stay away from CannaBioGen's website too, so many lip-hooking strains I don't see at the banks! They have a super fast African strain mate, like 8 weeks-- Lilly,... Edy, a Congo-Himalayan,... other that caught my eye: a fast Lamby derived cross Caribe,... Peyote Purple and crosses like Hash Fruit,...Panama DC (Deep Chunk!),... oh oh and you know their first auto is here made from Destroyer/Desfran!!

Oh you bugger.....you just had to tell me about a destroyer auto....son of a bitch....I MUST buy that one!! Though i will wait...if i get totally properly licensed up(should be...waiting on paperwork to clear/show up) I will be giving the DP Desfran a run next winter in a real indoor setup (Look out!!)

Oh hey.....step back to page 50 and check out the chunk on the pair of hyper ryders!! Yeah i would say that megacrop with some PK additives has the potential to produce!! Not perfect health, but i don't care!! ;)

Thanks Gtg[emoji109] I appreciate you hooking me up with Good people Bro!

And Thanks GS! These autos came a long way since I started growing. I see growers getting Nice bud which is high in THC from certain strains.

Over the last few years especially, autos have advanced at at incredible rate in both size and potency! There is really some great strains to be had these days from several companies.

Update!!

Trout fishing
Ouch, a rough start to the season!
Another fishing bud surprised me this morning with a phone call(after another good friend of mine had to cancel both days this weekend :( ), and we went out for a few hours today to a close local river....lots of fish around(spotted 20 big fish easily), but getting to them bite was nearly impossible....finally had a really nice 8 pounder take a swipe at my buddies but lost it...don't know how many perfect casts at big fish i did today!! Its the crazy weather(snow yesterday) that is making the bite tough so far!! Water level was high so current was tough and visibility is limited. Give a few days of the current stable warming weather trend(it was only 8 degrees C today) and i will have some beautiful pics to show. Must have put lures in front of a dozen fish(visually spotted fish) 5 pounds or bigger today.

Haha....yeah thats right man!! Gonna get 'em in a couple of days...head down to the river by myself in the warmer weather in the next few days and its gonna be on!! Thinking about keeping a few and smoking, but damn...I barely have enough time to fish, let alone an additional 12 hours to man the smoker!!

Daym, that is a tough decision! It would take quite a few joints to be on the smoker that long:smoking: do you smoke them to preserve the meat or just how you like to eat it?

Even a crappy day of fishing is better then nothing. I was planning to go this past weekend but the tooth extraction got in the way. Never had smoked fish, guess this is something I'm going to have to look into now.

Both for preservation and preference.

Yeah you got that right!! It just felt great to get out and do some walking in the woods(even in 1-2 feet of snow, some areas are bare now). And hey we saw lots of nice fish, and had a few that made a heart skip a beat!! Total success today was in my mind!!!
I make smoked trout only, and folks around here rave about it and are trying to get me to make it all the time...its a time consuming process though. You should try it out!!

I know you have a very busy schedule now with the outdoor season going and work around the place. But if you have a chance for a run down of the smoking process I'd greatly appreciate it. I have a ugly drum smoker not sure if that would work as that is more a direct heat smoker. Might be able to get an electric smoker for ease of use (stoner set and forget) till done.
