I grow to provide medicine to family and friends in need.
so I froze mu 99%isopropyl alcohol and flower. I mixed approximately 4 oz of Alcohol with 1/2 oz bud filtered and repeated 2 more times. 1st 30 seconds 2nd 45 seconds 3rd 60 seconds. Does anyone know how much potency I may be leaving behind?
I ended up with an oil that is 26.6mg/ml.
The image represents a 1-1 dilution of infusion with coconut oil. So 13.3x2=26.6.

Are your results 4 ounces of iso mixed with 4 ounces of oil? Then since you'll evaporate the iso you'll be left with just oil so you get 26.6mg/ml?

If so then 26.6 mg/ml x 118 (ml in 4 fluid ounces) = 3,138 mg of thc infused into your oil.

So 3138 divided by 14 = 224.

So that's 224mg per gram that was extracted. That comes to 22.4% THC potency per gram of bud if you extracted 100%. Which isn't likely so I would say unless you think your flower was well above 22.4% for THC you did very well.

I've heard of some people freezing material after they do extract and once they get a bunch saved up they will do another extraction to get anything they missed.

Ran a 4th iso through material. No additional mg/ml. I think 3 rinses is sufficient.

I did the distillation then mixed with 75 ml oil. The oil is 26.6 mg/ml. 75×26.6=1995 mg total. The rest if the math is Greek to me

This was Critical Purple Autoflower. If I achieve that high of THC its a record. TBH the 26.6 is total cannabinoids. Not just THC. Mostly THC though.
A friend ate a 3g gummie and said it seemed like a 15mg gummie. My math says that gummie was 14.3 mg. I am pretty confident in the @tCheck tester.

Ok so 1995mg total. 1995 / 14 grams buds it took to make = 142.5 mg per gram of buds used. That would mean with perfect extraction your starting material was 14.25%.

I agree I think you probably didn't leave much behind.

ETA: if you have grown 100% potent stuff 1 gram would have 1000mg. That's how got the 14.25% which is very close to your 14.3%

First off I do not support ISO extraction as being unnecessarily poisonous. Use Ethanol instead. @AFNG Your premise that the 26.6mg of ISO are pure THC; that is not the case. An ISO extraction will contain all of the plant actives THC, CBD, CBN etc. It will contain waxes, oils, chlorophyll and the remnants of the isopropyl alcohol. Most of the terpenes are lost in the evaporation. So without testing you don't really know the constituent numbers.

Otherwise your math is correct based on volume.

Totally agree. I've used everclear because I'm comfortable with that and as you know waiting on press so I don't even have to use that.
Kept numbers simple since there is so much that could effect things like you said.
He probably didn't leave much left behind and I like the runs and timing to reduce chlorophyll. I do think everclear or pressing would be better.

I use QWET all of the time to extract what is left in my rosin chips. It makes sludge - it is gross - I make chocolate out of it and flavor it with terps. I don't eat it. I just give it to some stoner buddies of mine who are in to getting high period. They love the stuff. I mostly consume rosin and products made from rosin. I have some CBD versions of chocolate for myself as well.

I actually made a vape cart with ABV extracted using qwet and some terps that turned out great.

That said really looking forward to rosin as well for it's versatility purity.
