Dude, SP250 is too long, don't match your 3'x3' tent. 2pcs SP150 perfectly matches your growing space
Too expensive for hobbyists MHT: multiples I mean. Most (like myself) will 'make do' with fingers crossed for upgrade 'in the future'.
 
I agree with Tina. Plus with multiple lights you have more versatility. Some plants grow taller than others. And where the two lights coverage over lap your PAR increases. It evens out the PAR coverage for the canopy. I'm using 5 lights on 3 plants and they seem to like it.

Yes it is 2.3x2.3

one plant should be plenty and around 120W of LM301 LED light should be perfect. In a 2.3x2.3 you would need 20k lumen.
