Thanks Grandma, much appreciated! :hug: My Sister belled me t`day. She spoke t`the hospital(in fact they belled her at work!). My Brother has been moved(again), this time to the ITU ward(intensive care) for the next 48 hours, while they try t`suss out where and what this virus is. They told my sis that it was precautionary, cos he is having a lot of trouble breathing and I guess it`s the most sterile place for him(while they work out which meds t`try next...). I`ll update as and when I get more info...Thank you all for the support and kind words! :Sharing One:

Just t`say that my brother was put into an induced coma on Sunday afternoon(his specialist suggested that all Family attend ASAP, so we were all up there), luckily he made it through the night. He wasn`t strong enough to inflate his lungs on his own and was lacking oxygen in his blood. He is having platelets, oxygen, steroids(cos whatever is attacking his lungs is causing massive scarring and they hope the steroids will help build em up again!) and antibiotics(pumped into him 24/7). If he deteriorates anymore, then they may have to move him to Papworth heart and lung hospital. They told my sister(last night) that it was looking like he would be in a coma for weeks(maybe longer!). Anyway, that`s about as much as I have t`say atm...:Sharing One:
Edit: I found out out an hour ago, that they`ve linked him up to Kidney Dialysis unit(cos apparently the kidneys are lazy organs!)

I`d like t`thank Everyone for their contributions, support and Love for my Brothers predicament. Much lovehug backatcha, my friends! I have to let you all know the score though... My brother passed away this morning....It is one of the hardest things I`ve ever had t`deal with... ...And Thank You All! :Sharing One:
