Hi everyone,
I've posted before about this but the issue is progressing and I've brought proper pictures this time! Growing all auto's, the worst problems are on mephistos samsquanch and skwalker.
Stats:
Coco loco/ocean forest/pearlite 1:1:1 soil 20 gal pots+ vam endo and azomite

Feed every 3 waters all water and nutrs ph'd to 6.40 (EDIT lol)
Nutes are prescription blend a sponsor on here , 500 tds currently (a bit less than called for since they're autos in soil)

Lights are hlg Leds at about 500 par now week 4 after germination 18/6 schedule

Temp is 83-86 air temp day, 72 night humidity is 66% day about 70% night

Co2 supplementation at 1400-1550 ppm now

Based on previous advice I just recently added a small amount of cal mag + to the Nutes this last time, leaves if anything look worse after last feeding.

I did spray spinosad thinking it could be pests , I have lady bugs in tent and they've been more active on the leaves lately.

Also, as you can see in pics I'm scroging them just bending and looping horizontal growth no topping or hst techniques.

Any ideas? Or does everything look OK on the whole to you all. They are growing quickly and seem healthy onthe whole but the leaf issue started lowest fan leaves and seemingly getting middle fan leaves now.

Thanks so so much,
Signed : a new nervous grower lol

Hello RPT, I just joined and saw your post. I have a first attempt with this BCN Critical XXL Auto, whatever that is, ha! its 18 wks grew outside till flowering brought it in because of cold in CO. I dont know how to use site yet, but I used correct fertilizers and flushed allready. not completly sure about appearance if light burn or normal, some tricombs starting to amber and pestels clear still i think, but some leaves drying and turning yellow brown. water is lasting long in media like she is not useing much. the only lights i have is these 20 vlt led set up, goes red, blue, and both. i use the red at high setting 16 he on. its on a photo i brought in also, but all i have, i switch back and forth. you sound like you know a little, can you see where i am at with this?

ok thanks brother I will just make a post and see what happens.

lady bugs are okay, i dont know about the leaf issue

You said you pH your water to 3.4? I hope not, Im guessing that was a typo and you meant 6.4?

The brown spots on the leaves could be a few different things, but my gut is saying nutrient lockout (specifically calcium) due to your pH being too high or too low. It could also just be a calcium deficiency. Do you have calcium in your nutes? Also what water are you using? Tap water, depending on where you live, has some minerals in it. But if your using distilled or RO water, you would more than likely need to add calmag to your feeds as well.
I also grow in soil but I use dry amendments, so I wouldnt be able to help much with with your nutrients.

Thank you for responding , yes 6.40 ph not 3.4 lol oops. So how would you adjust ph given my conditions ? I'm using rain water so I assume little to no calcium as it's essentially ro if it's from the sky yeah? Tds < 40 . Prescription blend does have calcium but do you think on the plain water days I need to add cal mag to it? How much would you use?

What dry ammendment could I make for calcium , bone meal? And do you think they look healthy overall, like how serious is the issue ?

You have been pH'ing your water to the proper range. Thats good It could be that with your nutes dont have enough calcium with using rain water. It could be a lockout because your NPK ratios are off. Like I said I dont have enough experience with liquid ferts to properly recommend something. Here is a nice read about nutrients, really helped me understand NPK ratios and how important they are. How too much of one nutrient can lock out another:

But to answer your second question, the problem with dry ferts is that they are processed by the organic life in the soil before they are transferred to the plant. They take too long, using dry fertilizers, you want to get ahead of the plant. But it also looks like the beginning stages of this lockout/deficiency and overall your plants look great

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in soon. Give "A Word On Nutrients" thread a read! Its a good place to start.

lady bugs are very good beneficial pest

I had a similar issue as yours and blamed it on my ph being way low which I knew it had dropped on me.. or from spraying spinosad on them some fellow growers on here had that issue when you spinosad Sprays

Now since you say the cal-mag may have made it worse and I further inspect your pics maybe too much nitrogen I think maybe I see some clawing starting but for the most part they look great
