Is it worth attempting to layer autoflowers particularly the bigger "supers" that have a longer growing time?

Stopping the plant after the 3rd or 4th set of leaves and then bending down the subsequent branches at about 12" and burying part of the branch so that new roots develop and hopefully increase yield at the tips. You probably know that it's a very common form of propagation but usually for shrubs. I've heard it being used for cannabis but usually photoperiodics not autos, it can be used to clone a stock plant rather than take cuttings and I also think it's done to increase yields from one plant in the case of being "caught" so the plea is for fewer numbers of plants

hey DJ some peeps air layer the branch so it roots before they cut it off that way you can have a few clones and still just ONE plant.... there are lots you tube vids about it.... i dont know about doing it with autos. good luck though.
