La Diva from Delicious Seeds

I finally had the oppertunity to do a proper test with my diy led
And coundn`t find a journal on a La Diva

So here we go

She is currently sitting in a cardboard box under a 60w Diy led
Waiting for my Sweet Seeds strain to finish in my tiny dr40 tent.


My setup is as follows:

Secret jardin dr40 tent 40x40x120 cm
100w hps Phillips SON-T PIA Plus / 1 X 60w DIY led (veg light)

Nutes: canna aqua veg, canna Aqua Flores,, Grotek calmax,, Ghe Ripen,, Ghe bio root plus
Tap water about 100-300 ppm
Germination method: Papertowel / rockwoolcube (small)
Container size is 3L/ 0.79 gal (yep that Small)
Grow medium is Leca

Love the La Diva
I haven't done a journal on them, because If you go to bathroom, by the time you get back they are finished!
Seriously, they flower and finish with remarkable speed and I do not rush to harvest.

That´s exatly what i whant.. a fast finish like sayd this is a test on my diy led, the bean is a freebee.
it says 45 days on the label LOL. so it should be fast. i surely hope so.

Smoke was very potent, but the flavor and aroma is without a doubt one of the best I have ever grown.
It is a shame that it is such a small plant, however until I find something else. La Diva will be a my special treat to myself. Seriously, if we don't swap bodily fluids or share dna, I am probably not going to smoke any of my La Diva with you!
I have three beans of them that just popped that are going into hydro as soon as I see roots from the rockwool.
45 days might be a little early, but 60 to 65 is perfectly realistic.
At around 45 days it will look like they have just quit, but don't rush in too quick to harvest. They take a while to get any amber and during that time they are putting on weight, which really makes a difference on small plants.

Wow now im really looking forward to smoke this one, I have about 55 days left to work with. so 60-65 days is kind of perfect. Im working with small space/ light , So any small strain will do. Always looking for strains with great taste.

I don't know what your ppm conversion is but here is an EC feed schedule from the breeder of La Diva.

This is a guide so you still have to pay attention to your plants and adjust to the plants needs.
But it looks like you are going a little light on the feed.

Week 1 EC up to 1.0
Week 2 EC up to 1.2
Week 3 EC up to 1.5
Week 4 Flower Nutes EC 1.5 - 1.7
Week 5 EC 1.7- 2.0
Week 6 EC 2.0- 2.2
Week 7 EC 2.0- 2.2
If grown longer keep here until flush

Using a feeding chart from another is useful if its the same system/lights/same size plant e.t.c.
Bigger lights bigger plant more food,smaller light smaller plant less food
But ppm is stable "sweet spot",
im using small pots/ container on my grows. preflower stretch before switching to bloom nutes is "max" 900ppm
and in flower it slows down to about 600ppm
My conversion is 0.5 i think

Well, this isn't just another feeding chart.
It is from the specific breeder of that strain, however he is definitely not rigid about it, very much of a "just give them what they want" guy. But that is the schedule he uses.
I just brought it up because even though they are small plants, yours looks a bit behind.
With La Diva at 19 days you should have preflowers and pistils readily visible.

As far as feed goes strength and volume are very different.
A big plant needs more volume of feed but not necessarily greater strength than a smaller plant of the same strain and age.

So feeding a plant in a 2liter bucket or feeding one in a 3 gallon bucket, assuming they are the same age they will need roughly the same strength feed, just differing volumes.

You definitely want to go with what you are comfortable with, but it always good to know what the breeder recommends should you want to tweak something.

I will be watching as you are about 3 weeks ahead of mine.

I do appreciate the help.
Im still new using ppm/ec meter. and i haven´t found my own "system" yet.
I basically just use "the rule"
If ppm drops more nutes, if ppm jumps less nutes.
example it it drops by 30 ppm i up with 90 ppm.

She showed sex on day 14 i think, but pistils was so small that i forgot about it.
Had a closer look today and there was some "normal looking pistils"
She is also starting to drink a little more so maybe a preflower stretch is underway.
ppm is stable on 380

How are the Diva's doing?
Mine are doing fine, all 3 dropped roots into the feed today so I expect to see some explosive soon.
They are under t5's until they kick into flower and then I will put them under a BS240 with the t5's as sidelight.
I am hoping to turn these small little beauties into fat heifers.
I will post up some pics once they get get some more growth.
