Mephisto Hubbabubbahaze x Cannabear freebie. 12 days since it broke ground. Its kind of getting leaves but not growing up at all! Is it a lost cause? Growing in biobizz light, under a single cob at low power (30w from wall). Does it stand a chance? I popped two seeds, one never made it above ground and this one is struggling. They were freebies so understand they are not all that proven (also this is only my 3rd grow so i am no pro). Any thoughts gratefully received.

Up to you really. If you have space for 2 why not crack another seed and wait a few more weeks and see how she goes and rethink it then.

I've had good and bad results with the freebies. But, that problem has always been germination. Have gotten a lot of tan seeds as freebies. For me, If they popped, they made good smoke. (Other than blue toof... not a favorite. Heavy anice overtones.)

I've had a couple mutants from mephisto, I always let them go if they'll go, sometimes the weird ones are something special. Hard to address that little one without knowing more about your setup and environment.

Thanks- i am tempted to keep it going. Just like i would probably choose the runt of a litter...i am growing inside, fabric pots 12l, bio bizz light which was pre soaked in water only few days before germ/planting. Germinated 24 hours in a cup in water, then into the soil. No nutes to date. Small tent under a Migro 100 at 30w (per their instruction for seedlings). The soil may possibly have still been too wet is the only thing i can think about the environment- temps are warm (23 plus day and night and usually nearer 27) and RH is ok- i used old bottles to make a dome as it came out. I think i will let it run if people think it isn't totally hopeless.

this is my second go with their freebies so i am not a huge poll but i tried their ss x dg which i got last time- it was AMAZING. grew easily, and i got over 8 oz off one plant and about 5 off the other. it took all my inexperience and still delivered. They do warn that the freebies are untested and so you are taking a risk- but they are freebies. I like the pot luck of it. That's why i wanted to pop these one which have a relatively high cbd in them- thought it would be interesting (and i am running a diary....possibly shortest one ever) and also interested in the results as i like to make edibles and think that the cbd mix could be great for them. I have no beef with mephisto if they don't work - i coulda bought some tried and tested beans and had an easy run but (with the support of the AFN gang) like to learn and if i can pull it off and that helps take the strain forward that feels like fun!

It looks like you are getting alge on the surface of you soil. I think your soil is way to wet still. Let it dry out before you water it again.
