I use the doubled keg cup method for germination and easy transplant. There may be better (and I'm always open to suggestions) but I've had good success with it.
My issue was I always managed to knock them over. They're top heavy with narrower base vs top.
I tried building trays but I want it to fit in my seed propagator and I want it flexible in configuration based on grow needs.

I came up with this. I cut a third cup to act as a base. Now it's more stable and your not locked I to one shape so you can fit it under some low watt strip fixture type led. Ghetto probably, hack fix definitely but I'm a ham and egger from way back lol. If I just reinvented the wheel then my bad lol.
