this is the fourth (and final!) forum i've posted this review to, so if it seems lackluster..
this was my first auto grow. it was also my second grow in a new, covert and cramped venue, which caused and compounded problems. it was not an ideal showcase of the strains abilities, only how she coped with stress.
issues:
there's lots of desert sun outside but that can only happen when my housemate leaves. otherwise it's a tiny microcab. the kind where you have to reach in around a corner that makes managing it difficult. this means my plants get shuttled around and have irregular lighting periods. the cab is poorly ventilated. there is no temp control. i also had an infestation of fungus gnats that decimated the roots, and being impecunious, was not able to address issues as the arose.
this grow was also my gibberellic acid 'disaster'. i had obtained some to assist in germinating some tough strains (eg. mekong haze). otherwise i was poorly edified regarding its effects.
the girls were growing slowly because of cold temps (jan-feb) and fungus gnats. i had discovered that GA3 was used to boost vegetative growth, so i hit my plants up.
NEVER DO THIS - check the wikipedia page for gibberellic acid. one of my plants was even worse than that picture - she was an 18" twig with a few sets of leaves, and an inch of foxtail at each.
FORTUNATELY - i was growing two feminised autos, the hobbit and ministry of cannabis' little angel. the homemade colloidal silver wasn't having much of an effect (i was applying it with a q-tip instead of spraying the whole plant).
the other effect of GA3 is it blocks ethylene, which means male flowers. so in a roundabout fashion my grow was a success - the angel grew male flowers (separate strain report) and i made about a dozen valuable seeds.
the hobbit also caught some GA3 but much less. she did a bit of the pencil thing but her flowers stayed female.
kannabia hobbit.. impressed me. virtually no veg odor (which, as a stealth grower, is an important criteria). the high and smoke is very clean, up, potent and cerebral.
because of the factors of the grow, i expect there was about 2 grams of bud total. the last smoke (barney's pineapple chunk) had me making music all day, with the hobbit all i wanted to do was sit on my ass and just be high. not couchlock, very mentally active.. "part" of this effect can be attributed to the scarcity of bud in my life. send me a fucking pound, ye fatcats.

THE GROWth: okay (hard to say)
THE SMELL: virtually odorless
THE SMOKE: 5 (*****)
very light and pleasant

i'd like to think there's room for improvement bcs i'm a ho, but at this quality, you're set, so 5s
brave but tormented larvae gnawed plant stretching on GA3 (burned top..) and battered by seasonal winds
a few nice dense foxtails regardless. big calyxes, decent trich production.
no cure when you have this much weed
i'm working on the angel/hobbit progeny. they are bound to be choice puff. so far low veg odor trait predominating, a high rate of mutation (odd number of leaves, strange shapes et c.) which i attribute to the GA3
