Do you guys recommend germinating prior to putting seed in the soil, or put the seed directly in soil to germinate?

Also you know the little plastic tubes you guys put your seeds in? Is that to make hole in soil to plant it?

Basically I'm asking if I take the plastic tube the seed came in and push it into the dirt until it is level with the soil does it make a perfect hole for me to drop my seed into?

I did this with a seed from another breeder who uses plastic tubes for their seeds similar to yours and it seemed to work well although I think the tube may have been larger, not sure though.

I bought single seed packs by the way, not sure if you guys use larger tubes for a three pack of seeds.
